Default Gaming Laptops

Does anyone have a laptop that can play the latest 3D games? Some of these Alienware laptops look nice, but they are quite expensive. I'm sure battery life is horrible as well.

I don't have a speeding machine or so of course! But my laptop is quite new (2 months), and it can play the newest 3D games

My friend has laptop, and he plays with it, and if you need to play on laptop, you should buy normal mouse, i think

Its not worth the time that will be put into optimization. At the point where you are a gamer, why would you have a laptop? Its not worth it.

Yeah, a friend of mine had a laptop but it wouldn't play his "games" on it the way he liked. He ended up getting a brand new computer and a 22 inch flat screen monitor. The thing is awesome!!

i dont have top anyway
and i dont play video games that much
so if i have a laptop
i will not focus on games
maybe i'll focus on graphics and movie editing programs
so i need a higher processor
that what i will focus in

Ive been playing games on mine for the past year, it was the first Dual Core laptop, but not its getting slow. The Dell laptops are good, but if you want a decent laptop go for the MacBook Pro, and dual boot xp. They are 1" think and much better performance than most laptops. I priced a same spec Dell up last night and the MacBook Pro was the cheapest by £45

My Alienware M5500 battery life is decent, like hour and a half to two hours with
out it being plugged in.

For really hardcore gaming I don't usually look into laptops because it is very expensive to buy a top of the line system compared to a desktop which can handle more power.

Alienware M5500... + extra battery dock = done deal. Although I have a crappy IBM, that's the laptop I want.
