Voters usher out Republicans in 2006

AP - President Bush called it a thumping, but to Democrats, it felt more like a restoration after a long turn out of power in Congress and several big-state governorships. By any description, the 2006 elections marked a voter revolt, fueled by anger over the war in Iraq and corruption at home, yet carried out with remarkable precision.

Poor George Bush, he really does live in his own little fantasy world.

Speaking about the mid-term elections, Bush said that it really was close. LOL.

Democrats took 30 House seats, 6 Senate seats and 6 governorships from the Republicans. And they did it without losing even one seat to the Republicans.

And Bush considers it close. Reality really isn't his strong suit.
